An open letter from General Manager Jeff Hutton;
Dear fellow supporter,
Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to say how great it was to see so many of you at Hayes Lane last weekend. The passion and desire of the players on the pitch was matched on the terraces and saw us all rewarded with that special moment at full time as we all waited for our play-off place to be confirmed.
Secondly, as the Club continues to grow on and off the field, it’s vitally important that we continue to improve our engagement with supporters. We are very fortunate to have an Owner and Chairman in Robin Stanton-Gleaves, who, alongside the board, recognise the significance of continuing to improve supporter engagement and involvement as the club grows.
Each and every supporter has a part to play in the Club’s future, and we are committed to making sure your voices are heard.
On this point, we are keen to hear supporters’ ideas, thoughts and suggestions on this subject. Would the appointment of a volunteer Supporter Liaison Officer be a good first step for the Club? Or maybe there are a group of like-minded supporters who would like some assistance in creating a Supporters’ Club? Would the creation of a ‘Fan Advisory Board’ provide a good platform for the Club to consult supporters on future initiatives and plans? As a Community Club, passionate about making a positive impact on those around us, we are intent on engaging with and understanding the wishes and needs of our entire fanbase, regardless of background, age, ethnicity or gender.
As soon as the easing of Covid restrictions allow, we plan to pick up where we left off pre-covid with a calendar of social activities and provide plenty of opportunities for fans to engage club-wide, from management and staff to the players.
With the intention of starting a healthy conversation amongst fans, we would love to hear from you, so if you have any ideas please get in touch with us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via post: Bromley FC, The Stadium, Hayes Lane, Bromley BR2 9EF.
Come on Bromley!
