Bromley enjoyed another victory tonight as they beat Woking 1-0 thanks to a bizarre Jude Arthurs goal.
The first chance fell Bromley’s way as Arthurs did well to find Michael Cheek who took it past the ‘keeper before slotting it into the side-netting.
Bromley received their just-rewards for their attacking dominance and opened the scoring on 22 minutes. The ‘keeper attempted to clear, but he hits Arthurs before the ball goes in after looping onto the post.
One almost became two for both Bromley and Arthurs. Luke Coulson did well to find our number eight in the box, but his diving header went wide.
Chris Bush then tried to squeeze an effort into the near post, forcing the Woking ‘keeper into a save in the final chance of the half.
A quiet start to the second half was ended when Nicke Kabamba gave Bromley a scare as his header just past the hour mark went just over.
Inih Effiong then endured the same outcome, seeing a header blaze over Mark Cousins’ frame.
However, when Woking were reduced to 10 men on 85 minutes, the game was assured to be over and that’s exactly what it was.
The Ravens held on to clinch another vital three points.
