Tuesday was another memorable evening for the Academy, as seven graduates featured in the resounding 5-0 win over Watford U23s at The Hayes Lane Stadium.
AJ Martin, Jack Smith, Kellen Fisher, Marcus Sablier, Ben Krauhaus, Rhys Wyborn and Archie Burnett all made appearances on the evening.
A particular highlight came in the 51st minute when Marcus Sablier, a newly signed 1st Year Pro, peeled off at the back post, to volley home his first senior goal for the Club.
Sporting Director Mark Hammond said;
“It’s great to see the Manager continue to invest in our young scholars, giving them valuable game time. It shows his belief in what the Academy stands for and ultimately, how he recognises the importance in connecting the Club and the Bromley FC community.”
Bromley FC Under 23s Head Coach Steve Aris added;
“I’m really proud of all the young boys, they were given a platform to showcase their talent and they really impressed. They all demonstrated the quality that we have in our Academy and being given that opportunity to play with the first team. It was a brilliant moment for them and starts a great learning curve.”
