Girls

In the JPL, our U14s Girls team travelled to South Glos RTC for their final Warriors Cup fixture. The girls put in a good performance and were unlucky not to win the game as the post and crossbar twice denied them of all three points. They drew 1-1 with Eden Naish scoring the goal as they now turn their attentions to Crystal Palace at home on Saturday.

The U16s Girls carried over their fine performance from last week into this weekend’s fixture against AFC Wimbledon. Great attacking play and clinical finishing helped secure a 6-2 win for the girls. Special mention to Esmé Johnson for scoring a hat-trick! Next weekend, our U16s travel away to Portsmouth FC for another Warriors cup fixture.

Boys

As for the Boys, the U14s won 4-1 against a very impressive side on Saturday. With only 10 outfield players and two ‘keepers, the boys showed great character. Striker Kian Downey netted all four goals and came away with the Man of the Match award.

It proved to be goals galore for our U13s who narrowly lost 7-6 at the weekend. Shoutout to Seb who netted a hat-trick.

Our 16s travelled to Barking on Saturday and came away with the win, finding themselves on the right side of a 2-1 score-line. An own goal and a finish from Thomas Edozie sealed the win with Paolo Curraj and George Penn picking up Man of the Match awards.

The U15s also came out on top, winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Ben and Edmund. Shoutout to Dawid Pryzbylo and Charlie Paye who produced stand-out performances.

As for the U12s, they won 4-0 with goals coming from Bashford, Hassan, Vincent and Powers.

Another overall positive set of results for our first team, Academy and Youth Academy over the course of last week!
