What’s been happening this week

There has been plenty going on across all of our social media accounts, and we have picked out some the key stories from the week… 

Members from our 1st Team continued to update us on their progress from home during the week, with Manager Neil Smith sending supporters a message via Twitter.

The Academy posted an update on their operations following the closure of schools, which demonstrated how they have utilised online teaching methods for our Academy scholars. You can watch the video, and find out more, by clicking here.

As well as updates from our current first-team, the Club have also been sharing memories from years gone by. This week saw the introduction of ‘Goal Morning’ which brings you a featured goal each day, the first of which you can view below.

We have also introduced ‘Photo of the Day’ which will be bringing you moments from games gone by in image form, courtesy of Mark Avenell, Ed Boyden and Ryan Tanner. The first of which was an action shot of Warren McBean scoring against Bishop’s Stortford in 2010. You can see the photo via our Instagram account below.

Yesterday also saw the second instalment of ‘Matchday Replay’ with a re-run of our 2-2 draw with Forest Green Rovers from 2016. Details on what ‘Matchday Replay’ entails can be read here. We will be back next Saturday with a similar instalment or something else just as exciting – watch this space.
