Bromley faced league leaders West Wickham in a physical encounter which ended in disappointed for our ladies having to leave without any points.

In a scrappy opening twenty minutes both teams struggled to create any clear cut chances but it was Bromley who took the lead when a Robertson cross was controlled by Bays and her shot from the edge of the box was deflected up and over the keeper. The equaliser came after a Bromley goal kick was headed forward into the path of a winger who was able to lift the ball into the net. Both teams made the keeper work before West Wickham got a penalty after Bays made a foul attempting to block a shot, it was converted to give the swans a half time lead.
West Wickham took a 3-1 lead after a scramble from a corner lead to a shot from a tight angle hitting the inside of the post and finding the back of the net. Bromley kept pushing forwards and were rewarded when Robertson got a second chance to put the ball in from a corner and Rolfe headed against the bar before Rafferty was able to strike the rebound into the goal. An equaliser came after good interplay between Rafferty and Bays set Rafferty free on the end of the box and she fired low and hard into the bottom corner. Bromley were caught on the break from their own corner and Higginson in goal was finally beaten in a one on one after making several outstanding stops during the game. West Wickham then scored two quick goals as Bromley continued to push forwards. The Ravens got a consolation goal with minutes to go as Bays latched onto a forward ball, controlling well to strike on the half volley past the keeper from the edge of the box.
Conceding six goals seemed harsh on a Bromley defence that marshalled a good line throughout the game.
