The Club were delighted to be following the success of our U14s Girls in the Kent FA County Cup Final on Sunday 15th March.
The U14s were up against Maidstone United and found themselves 2-0 down in the second half. Shakara Brown then gave the young Ravens a lifeline before doubling her tally with minutes to spare, sending the match into extra-time.
Then, in the final minute of extra-time, with the game seemingly heading to penalties, Gabby Buddle-Smith sealed the cup final win for the U14s!
A superb game, one that manager Steve Short was immensely proud of;
“Bit breath-taking, with last kick of extra time. We don’t do things in the easy way. I’m very proud of the girls in difficult conditions. It was good to have two good teams contesting a really hard fought final. I’m really proud of the team and they should be really proud of themselves too.”
