Bromley Football Club’s Professional Development team saw off the challenge of Sutton United at Hayes Lane on Friday evening, as their Suburban League Campaign got underway.

A first half which saw the visitors hit the woodwork twice ended scoreless, setting up a make or break second half for the two sides.

Bobby Mills broke the deadlock just three minutes into the second half with a bullet header from a corner, before D’Jean Spencer made it two just seven minutes after, smashing home from close range after another corner had been headed across goal.

Ryan Ferrari reduced the deficit with 12 minutes remaining, sending a stunning long range effort dipping under the crossbar, but Ollie Tanner made sure of the win on 88 minutes, finishing off a solo run with a shot across goal and into the bottom corner.
