League sponsors Vanarama have been busy assessing the season so far – and what’s ahead!

Up to now…

The Ravens are flying. A goalless draw on the opening day left a lot to be desired but since then, goals and winning have been the only talking points amongst the Bromley faithful. Only Solihull Moors have scored more than Neil Smith’s men.

Biggest result so far…

Look up ‘gritty performance’ in the football dictionary and you’ll find Bromley’s win over Hartlepool United at the weekend. Having twice been pegged back to go in level at the break, Reeco Hackett-Fairchild struck to snatch all three points.

Who has stood out?

Replacing JJ Hooper was always going to be a tough ask but with the signing of Michael Cheek, Neil Smith might be on to something. The boisterous frontman wouldn’t look out of place in most teams in the division.

Stat attack…

League position: 3rd

Home goals for: 6

Away goals for: 4

Home goals against: 4

Away goals against: 2

Top scorer: Billy Bingham, Michael Cheek, Reeco Hackett-Fairchild, Jack Holland (2)

In the diary…

Boreham Wood will be looking for a reaction to their Sutton setback at the weekend. Only three teams have beaten Bromley at home this calendar year and Luke Garrard’s men are one of them.

Look out for…

Without a doubt, when Kabongo Tshimanga is at it, he’s at it! The former Oxford City man bagged a move to Boreham Wood after netting 36 times in all competitions last season and he has shown glimpses of that quality already.

We’ve got history…

Boreham Wood took the lion’s share of things last season but Neil Smith has assembled a new side that should be a completely different prospect.
