Bromley Football Club can today confirm three further departures from the 2018/19 squad.
Roger Johnson, Frankie Sutherland and Aiden Enver have all left Hayes Lane.
36 year old Johnson, a former Premier League Captain, signed for the Club back in October 2017 and passed the 50 appearances landmark this season, scoring three goals during this time. The most memorable of those was against League One Peterborough United last season, which put the Ravens 1-0 up.
Sutherland has been with the Club since August 2017 after impressing on a pre-season trial, and scored eleven goals in all competitions this season, all of which were penalties. He also scored a spot kick in the Ravens’ FA Trophy Final at Wembley Stadium back in May 2018, before cementing his place as the side’s set piece king last season alongside midfield partner Frankie Raymond.
Enver, a product of the Club’s academy, sat on the fringe of the first team since making his debut at the age of 17, before spending time with the Professional Development squad last season and featuring in the Kent Senior Cup.
All three players leave with the deepest of thanks from everybody connected with the Club, along with our well wishes for the future.
Manager Neil Smith remains in talks with a number of potential new signings, and we expect further news in the coming weeks.
