Bromley Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of striker Reeco Hackett-Fairchild on a short term loan from EFL League One neighbours Charlton Athletic.
The 21 year old, who stands at 6’4″ started his career at Dagenham & Redbridge and after a short loan spell with Dulwich Hamlet, he was snapped up by the Addicks. Reeco has featured twice against Bromley this season, once for Boreham Wood where he spent time on loan earlier this season, and secondly for Charlton in the Kent Senior Cup back in January.
Manager Neil Smith commented; “It’s great to have signed Reeco. He is someone I’ve watched and been interested in for a while now. Recently, he’s spent time in the first team squad at Charlton and has been on the bench for them, so when the opportunity to bring him in came along I didn’t want to miss out. I’m pleased to have him on board and I hope he takes this opportunity to show the supporters what he can do”.
Hackett-Fairchild is available for selection for tonight’s match against Chesterfield and will wear the number 19 shirt, vacated by Jamie Philpot, who has now left the Club. Everyone at Bromley Football Club would like to thank Jamie for his efforts and wish him the best for the future.
