Torquay trip selected for BT Sport

Our National League clash with promotion chasers Torquay United on Saturday 8th May has been chosen for BT Sport coverage.

U23s Manager Roger Johnson spoke with BFCtv following a friendly with Ebbsfleet United at Hayes Lane on Wednesday.

In the interview Johnson reflects on the unfortunate early curtailment to his Professional Development Squad’s season, with the U23s sitting 1st in the Suburban League.

His squad will return to training in the coming weeks along with the staggered return of our Academy squads.

In other news Roger Johnson lead a team at Hayes Lane on Wednesday afternoon, giving game time to members of the 1st team who didn’t feature in the recent match with Sutton United.

The Ravens recorded a 1-0 victory on the day with the goal scored by Kellen Fisher, an Academy scholar who has signed first team forms and is part of Neil Smith’s training squad.
