Bromley Football Club are pleased to announce that young prospect Tarek Najia has signed a new contract.
The 19 year old Lebanon U19 international goalkeeper began his footballing journey at Dagenham & Redbridge, before joining the Ravens on work experience in 2018. Following his departure from the Daggers, he joined the Bromley on a non-contract deal, before signing his first professional contract during the 2019/20 season.
Having made appearances in friendlies for the first team, he made his first competitive appearance against a strong Gillingham side in the Kent Senior Cup back in January, and also made the bench for several National League fixtures during the 2019/20 season.
Manager Neil Smith was delighted to keep Najia on board;
“He came in under Jim Stannard’s recommendation. We are looking for the younger players and he came in and made an impression in and around the first-team. We’re looking to make him a better player and for him to enhance this team.”
