In our latest supporters feature, Ronan Howard selects his top five goals of the 2015/16 season.

5. Ali Fuseini vs Torquay United

In one of our best seasons of recent years, Ali’s screamer against Torquay in a 7-3 thumping was one of those that will live long in the memory. As soon as his foot struck the ball, it was clear the net was the only place it was going!

4. Alex Wall vs Forest Green Rovers

I had to put in a goal from a set piece and this was one that stood out for me. Ali’s pinpoint delivery fell to the head of Alex Wall, who leapt in the air and powered a looping header over the goalkeeper from an astonishing distance. I’d say it’s one of the best headers I’ve seen. Yet again, an amazing example of technique and neck power too!

3. Moses Emmanuel vs Chester

This goal is awarded my third place, simply because of the outstanding technique. Joe Anderson showed great vision to pick Moses out and after shrugging off a defender his volleyed finish which crept just under the crossbar, showed the outstanding footballing ability he has.

2. Anthony Cook vs Barrow

This was special not only for the finish but the determination Anthony showed in the build up. He was strong enough to stay on his feet after a mazy run through several opposition players and end it with a peach of a finish which looped over the goalkeeper and dipped under the crossbar. Perfect.

1. Louis Dennis vs Barrow

This just has to be my favourite goal of the season. A fantastic solo run from Louis was capped off by a brilliant curling finish from range. No goalkeeper would have had a chance with that one. It was the perfect way to cap off a great performance in front of a bumper crowd on non-league day.
