The Ravens dominated first half proceedings and the first chance fell on two minutes when James Vennings burst forward before finding Michael Cheek. The latter then drilled a low shot into the arms of the Dover ‘keeper.
Our number nine was in the thick of it again, this time heading wide a Luke Coulson free-kick.
It was the same link-up on 18 minutes, however, Cheek saw his header saved.
The dead-lock was eventually broken when Coulson produced another fantastic set-piece. He floated a corner towards the back-post for Chris Bush to nod home.
Michael Gyasi shot a low effort wide before Corey Whitely bent the ball just around the post.
Ali Al-Hamadi unleashed a brilliant effort from distance, but the scores remained 1-0 at the break.
Harry Forster came on on 50 minutes and almost made an immediate impact, seeing his shot blocked.
Ellery Balcombe was then forced into a brilliant save to deny Gyasi.
Billy Bingham then nearly netted a wonder-goal, forcing the Dover ‘keeper into a brilliant save as his rocket was heading for the top corner.
Balcombe was called into action again to deny substitute Jack Nelson before Bingham was in the thick of it again too, striking an effort high and wide.
Dover then equalised through a Danny Collinge header and almost took the lead straight after, forcing Balcombe into another brilliant save.
Corey Whitely looked to have won it, burying the ball into the bottom corner following another Coulson assist. However, it wasn’t to be as Collinge netted his brace in stoppage time.
The Ravens face Altrincham on Tuesday night.
