Bromley book their place in the fifth round of the FA Trophy after beating Aldershot Town 2-0 away from home. Goals from Joe Partington and George Alexander sealed the win

The Ravens had the better of the attacking threat in the early stages; the first real chance fell on 11 minutes. Finlay Lovatt did well to find Corey Whitely, but the latter fired a shot over.

Moments later, James Alabi tried the spectacular from distance, but his effort flew wide.

Up the other end, just past the half-hour mark, Reice Charles-Cook produced a fantastic save to deny Ryan Glover opening the scoring.

On the stroke of half-time, the Bromley ‘keeper was called into action again, this time denying a Lewis Kinsella free-kick.

The dead-lock was eventually broken on 55 minutes as Partington netted a fantastic free-kick to give the Ravens the lead.

Alabi then came close to doubling Bromley’s lead soon after, but he couldn’t quite convert a difficult effort from close range.

For the second time this season, Alexander netted at the EBB Stadium. This time, slotting home from close range to make it 2-0 late on.

The Ravens held on to clinch the win and now await their opponents in the fifth round.
