Update 10:10 27/02/18 – Bromley’s trip to Spennymoor Town for the Buildbase FA Trophy Quarter Final replay has now been rearranged for Tuesday 6th March, KO 7:45pm.The originally scheduled game on 6th March, Solihull Moors v Bromley, will now be rearranged and a new date announced as soon as possible.
Update 09:34 27/02/18 – GAME OFF! Despite the pitch being playable underneath the frost covers a decision has been made to call off the game in the interest of player and supporter safety along with the forecasted frozen weather. Apologies to all for the delay in the decision.
Archived Update 8:40pm 26/02/18 – Spennymoor remain confident of the game going ahead however there will be a pitch inspection at 8:30am on Tuesday morning.
Archived Update 5:57pm 26/02/18 – Spennymoor Town have informed us the majority of their pitch, which is entirely playable, is now under frost sheets.
The club has been in communication with the FA who have stressed that a pitch inspection will need to take place ahead of the Bromley team departing for the game at 9am Tuesday. Further details regarding the inspection will be confirmed shortly.
A note for those who are curious, the Gateshead vs Leyton Orient game was postponed early due to the fact Gateshead had no frost protection covers to protect their pitch.
Bromley will be providing live match commentary from Spennymoor Town via the official club website tomorrow.
Archived Update 2:11pm 26/02/18 – The Club have been informed by Spennymoor Town that they are doing everything possible to get the game on with frost sheets currently going down to cover the pitch which at present is playable.
A further update is expected around 5:30pm today once the clubs have consulted with the FA and match officials.
