Bromley suffer defeat in a game which saw five players make their debuts.

Hampton started strongly, having lost their opening game the week before, and took an early lead when a long range shot beat Hogginson in goal whose view was obstructed as the shot found its way through a crowd of players. This seemed to spark Bromley into life who started to gain possession in the attacking third. Bromley felt they were harshly denied a penalty after the ball seemed to strike a defenders arm as a Hampton player blocked a cross. Bays then had a chance to shoot after a driving run but her shot failed to trouble the Hampton keeper. Bromley equalised towards the end of the half after a Donovon corner was headed in from close range by Rafferty.

Bromley started the second half stronger, creating several chances and went closest to scoring when Donovon’s powerful shot cannoned off the near post. Hampton also had chances and almost took the lead but for Gallone who made a goal saving tackle after a shot was saved by Higginson. Hampton did eventually take the lead after a deep cross to the back post was converted from close range by the striker. Bromley pushed for an equaliser and Nicholls-Kendrew came close but her shot went just over. Hampton scored close to full time with a deep cross come shot which dipped into the top corner at the far post.

Bromley now to concentrate on the positives to take into next weeks away trip to Luton.
