Bromley Football Club’s virtual end of season awards ceremony saw winger Luke Coulson pick up a hat trick… but not the usual kind!
The 26 year old, who joined from Ebbsfleet United in December 2018 was named Players’ Player of the year, as well as picking up the Management Team’s award, in addition to the coveted Supporters’ Player of the Year.
Highlighted for his consistent performances by coaches Alan Dunne and Mark Hammond on the night, Coulson was delighted his efforts were recognised.
Upon receiving the Players’ player and Management award, Coulson was quick to praise his colleagues; “It’s a great bunch of boys who are great people to have around the dressing room, so this award means a lot”.
“Players’ player is always going to mean a lot, coming from the people you’re training with and improving with, and it’s also great to be recognised by the staff.”
With over 470 votes cast for the Supporters’ award, those tuning into the live ceremony were eager to learn of who the recipient would be. Step up none other than Coulson once more, who made it a clean sweep, and was presented the accolade by Club Shop manager Jim Brown. Following this, he thanked Jim and commented; “I always try to play with a smile on my face and winning all three awards is something I’ll cherish. It means a lot coming from supporters who travel up and down the country and support us at Barrow away and places like that where you don’t expect anyone to turn up.”
A huge congratulations goes to Luke from everyone at the Club for winning the awards.
