The Club can confirm that midfielder Danny Waldren has joined Ryman Premier Division side Dulwich Hamlet.

Manager Mark Goldberg said, “I’m disappointed to have lost Danny to Dulwich this year. We offered Danny to be part of us this year but understand the opportunity to use his experience to now lead Dulwich the way he led us for the last five years is a great challenge for him. I would like to thank Danny on behalf of everyone at Bromley for being the leading example for all footballers at our level of how to conduct yourself both on and off the pitch and for being the spine for my team for so many years.”

On departing Danny said, “I’ve had four very memorable seasons with a Club I love very much. We’ve had some great ups and downs over the years and although sad to leave I’m so happy to have finished on such a great note by winning the league title.

“I’d like to say a huge thanks to all staff, management and players at the Club and an evening bigger thank you to all the fans who have been nothing short of fantastic to me over the years.

“All good things come to an end; I can only wish the very best of luck to all associated with Bromley as the Club looks to establish itself in the National League this season. With the new signings and current group of players, who I know are fantastic, I’m sure Bromley will be a force to be reckoned with. God bless to all at Bromley Football Club.”

Everyone at the Club would like to thank Danny for his time with us and we wish him every success for the future.
