Last weekend saw the inaugural International London Cup being held at Hayes Lane. As well as several Premier League Academy teams including Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City, and other European giants including AC Milan, Ajax and PSG taking part, Bromley FC were also represented by the U10s side!

Day one saw the young Ravens drawn against AVA, Swansea City, Club Brugge, Fit 4 Kidz and AFC Allstars. At the end of the group stages, Bromley finished 3rd in their group after wins against AVA, Fit 4 Kidz and perhaps most impressively, Swansea City.

The team then progressed in to the second round of matches, to face, Genk, Ebbsfleet United, St Joseph’s Dublin, Concept and Norwich City. Once again the team gave a fantastic account of themselves beating St Joseph’s, Norwich and Ebbsfleet along the way, again finishing third, this time on goal difference!

Unfortunately, Bromley missed out on progressing further in the competition, but stayed on to watch the final round of matches where Liverpool were the eventual winners, beating Ajax in the final on penalties.

The tournament was a huge success overall, and we were proud to host some of the best young talent in Europe. Roll on next year!
