It was another successful Friday evening under the Hayes Lane floodlights for the Bromley U23s at Hayes Lane, as they battled to a 3-1 victory over Corinthian U21s.

Despite falling behind to a 4th minute opener courtesy of a defensive error, Bromley restored parity just after the 15 minute mark through Brandon Chambers. After a mazy run, the former Spurs youth player struck a fine effort into the top corner from 20 yards.

Not long after, Bromley were ahead. After being awarded a free kick on the corner of the penalty area, Ollie Tanner stepped up and sent an inch perfect left footed effort curling beyond the goalkeeper’s reach and into the top corner.

There was room for a third goal in the second half, and what a goal it was. On 73 minutes, Jaedon Phillips twisted and turned in the box, before firing an outstanding effort in off the post and then stanchion.

Danny Mills’ side are in action at Hayes Lane once again next week, as they host Sevenoaks Town reserves, kickoff 8pm. As always, admission is FREE!
