Bromley Football Club were delighted to appear in the Chartwell Cancer Trust’s monthly FUNdraising magazine, on no less than three separate pages!
Firstly, manager Neil Smith featured, along with Club staff David Cooke and Scott Brown, after their British 10k run in aid of the Trust back in July.
Following that, children who were receiving treatment for cancer, along with their siblings and families, were invited in to watch a training session with the first team, take part in a penalty shootout, as well as have lunch and a chat with the first team players in the Ravens Bar!
Finally, on the very next page, there were plenty of pictures to be seen from Chartwell’s visit to Hayes Lane on Saturday 29th September, where the Ravens hosted FC Halifax Town in the Vanarama National League (see above). Children and families from the trust were our guests for the day.
Everyone at the Club is tremendously proud of the impact we have been able to have on children and families from the Chartwell Cancer Trust, and are already looking forward to our next meeting!
