This Saturday Bromley make the long trip to North Wales for the return Vanarama National League fixture against Wrexham, kick-off 3.00pm.

The Ravens will be looking to pick up their first ever three points at The Racecourse Ground, where they have not won in five previous visits. Their best result being a 2-2 draw the season before last, on 25 August 2018 when a Frankie Sutherland penalty and an own goal gave Bromley a share of the spoils.

In the corresponding fixture at Hayes Lane earlier in the season, the two clubs fought out a 1-1 draw where Michael Cheek was Bromley’s goal scorer.

As has been well documented, Wrexham have recently been taken over by two Hollywood stars, and a recent agreement between the owners and the playing staff will see the players receive a substantial bonus if they reach certain standings at the end of the season.

Currently they are on course to receive such bonus as they occupy one of the play-off places in the League table with 47 points from 29 games completed. Last weekend they were scheduled to travel to Dover Athletic, but due to Dover’s troubles the game was postponed; whilst on Tuesday evening they did not have a fixture.

Their last match was a 2-2 home draw against Eastleigh last Tuesday week, where they came from behind on two occasions.
