Alexander is a Raven!

Bromley Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of George Alexander.

The 20-year-old centre-forward has penned a permanent deal with the club following a successful trial period, netting three times in pre-season so far with numerous assists to his name already.

Alexander, son of former Millwall striker Gary, arrives at Hayes Lane from the EFL Championship side, where his talents within the academy awarded him with a Championship appearance against Wigan Athletic in 2019. The prolific goalscorer also found his name on the team-sheet in an Emirates FA Cup tie against Everton later that year.

The club’s newest recruit also spent time on loan at Concord Rangers during the 2019-20 season, helping The Beach Boys reach the Buildbase FA Trophy final.

Manager Andy Woodman commented: “I’d like to welcome trialist A, B, C, I, whatever he’s been called! He’s a goalscorer and he’s shown that at Millwall in the U23s and will give us another dimension in terms of how we play. George is always pulling the trigger and is a determined young man, so it’s great to have him in the building and I’m looking forward to working with him and hopefully watching him score many goals for the club.”

Alexander expressed his delight at joining Bromley as he looks to replicate his pre-season form in the Vanarama National League: “I am delighted to have signed for Bromley and hopefully I can get some more goals.

I’m looking forward to playing some men’s football and impressing the supporters.”
