Everyone at Bromley Football Club sends their Congratulations to Academy TRS A-Level Scholar Tom Rendell, who has secured his place at Loughborough University on the Sports Science with Exercise degree course, by obtaining his A level grades AAB in Biology, Psychology and P.E.
His mother, Claire, emailed the Academy to personally thank the efforts and support of the staff and said: “We are so proud of him as there are only 30 places available on the course. It’s such a prestigious course in sport, where he plans to continue developing his football.
“Please thank all of his coaches and teachers at Bromley in particular Jack, Matt, and also special mention to Sue who has known Tom for many years and is always happy to offer support to students.”
Tom further mentioned how he has been grateful for the opportunity provided by the Club. He was especially thankful for the platform where he has been able to develop his passion for football and his studies through the Club and the Ravensbourne School in his A level pathway choices, despite the pandemic.
The Scholar is also enjoying using his FA level one qualification in coaching to assist Bromley FC Community Sports Trust in the current school holiday football camps.
Head of Academy and Education Tom Beaumont added: “In essence, this is why we have set up the A-Level pathway. It creates a number of fantastic opportunities for our students, and we’re very proud of Tom and the hard work he has put in to reach this stage. He sets a great example for future Scholars.”
Good luck with the next stage in your career, Tom!
