Manager speaks to local press

Bromley boss Mark Goldberg was delighted with Nic McDonnell after the striker scored the opener in Saturday’s 2-1 friendly win over Gillingham.
McDonnell became a firm favourite with Lillies fans during his first spell at the club and Goldberg had no hesitation in snapping him up again this summer once the player became available again.
The manager told News Shopper: “In my meeting prior to pre-season, I had seen Nic McDonnell had adapted his shape for a return to football.
“He had lost weight and got fit over the summer and was eager to return. Nic has worked very hard over the last few weeks so I was very pleased to see him score the first goal against Gillingham and he did exactly what everyone at the club knows he can do.”
