Youth Section Update: 30/04/12

Due to April Showers only one of the youth section games beat the weather while the other 4 games were postponed due to waterlog pitches. The Season has yet to finish for the following sides in Selkent League and Kent Youth League:
Under 9 Squad Managed by Lee Downs and Assisted by Glyn Shimmel still to play one League Match against bottom side Parkwood Lions. Crowned League Champions last week are now looking to be the 2nd Bromley Youth Section side the chance of winning both league and cup this season. The re-arranged Selkent League Triangle Under 9 Vase Cup Final will be held at:
London Marathon Playing Fields, 304 Shooters Hill Road, SE18 4LT, KICK OFF 10.00 am on SUNDAY 6TH may 2012. Lets give our Support to Bromley’s Youngest side
Under 11 Tony Sherlock side assisted by Ted Hooper still managed to play there away fixture this weekend against Parkwood Rangers in the Shield Competition coming away with a clean sheet not so much a clean shirts as they won 7-0. With one more shield game to play the Under 11's with one foot in the final, With opponents HFC Cobra standing in there way, a win or draw will put Bromley through to the final. Tony and Teds team must avoid a double figure defeat to not make the final for 2nd year in a row. Under 12 Liam Plumb's side assisted by Dave Plumb in runners up spot still to play against AFC AS Lions this possible title decider forms part of The Under 12's must win remaining 5 fixtures and provided other results also goes there way becomes Selkent A Division champions.
Under 16 need to win their final fixture against Phoenix Sports to be crowned champions of the North Division. Both Under 18 Sides after last weeks 9 goal thriller matches both with 1 more game to play Under 18 North opponents Welling United current 3rd in the table . Under 18 Central opponents Cray Valley currently occupying 3rd from bottom in the Central League.
