Bromley managed to progress to the 3rd Qualifying Round of the F.A. Youth Cup after a 3-1 win at East Grinstead Town yesterday evening.
Bromley went 2-0 up in the first half before the home side had the chance to respond before the break from the spot but the penalty was saved well by the Bromley keeper. East Grinstead Town did manage to pull a goal back in the second half before Bromley secured the win with a third goal just before the end.
Bromley will now travel to Chatham Town in the 3rd Qualifying Round which is scheduled to take place the week commencing the 19th October. Chatham Town progressed having won 4-3 at Eastbourne Borough last night.
As a result of the F.A. Youth Cup action neither of the scheduled Academy games will be taking place today and will be rescheduled for a later date.
